Everyone who serves with CURE in Malawi, from medical professionals to office staff, are dedicated to providing the highest quality medical and spiritual care to people who, without CURE, couldn't find it and couldn't afford it, just like Hanifu. To do that, we're inviting you to partner with us.

"I almost gave up seeking help to get my son to be treated. It has not been easy for us," said Mary, Hanifu's mother.
We have Hanifu here at CURE Malawi. He is a sweet little boy and very friendly! Hanifu arrived here during the weekend, and we thank God for his mother Mary pushing through this time of hardships to get to us at CURE Malawi. Traveling is not easy with the new government restrictions.
When Hanifu was about a year old, he accidentally crawled to the fireplace, curious about flames, went near to touch the fire, and was severely burned. His mother Hanifu received treatment at a local hospital, but Hanifu's hand contracted during the healing process. "When I took my son back to the hospital where they helped him, the doctors said they could not help Hanifu further. I was referred to another hospital where I met a rehabilitation team who gave me the directions to CURE Malawi," said Mary.
Hanifu has been seen by our CURE Malawi doctors and he will undergo an operation to release him burn contractures. Please keep Hanifu in your prayers.
Latest Updates
Hanifu is being prayed over after getting out of the operating room to check his wound. Our CURE Malawi doctors said that his hand looks great, and he can go home! After a few weeks, Hanifu will go to the local hospital near his village to get the wires in his fingers removed. Once he gets the wires removed, Hanifu will be able to use his hands without any problems! Thank you so much for your love, support, prayers, and get-well messages you have been sending to Hanifu! It has made their stay here even better knowing that so many people care for them.
Hanifu had an upset stomach this weekend, but today, he is stronger! Our CURE Malawi doctors are planning to check his wound this week and will see if Hanifu can be on his way home! Please continue to pray for a full recovery!
Hanifu is back up after his surgery and kicking balloons around the ward! He's full of energy for a little guy who just had surgyer! Thank you for your prayers and support Our CURE Malawi doctors will check his wound again next week, making sure it is healing up well!
