CURE in Malawi
The picture above is of CURE in Malawi. Everyone who serves with CURE in Malawi, from medical professionals to office staff, are dedicated to providing the highest quality medical and spiritual care to people who, without CURE, couldn't find it and couldn't afford it, just like Zione. To do that, we're inviting you to partner with us.
We need to raise approximately $1000 to treat children like Zione. When you give a gift through Zione's CUREkids profile, your contribution will help us continue our work in countries like Malawi. Have more questions? Ask us.
Monthly Giving: Be a Hero!
When you partner with us monthly, we'll send you an email each month to introduce you to a different child who was helped because of your generosity. You can choose to follow their updates and send them get well messages. That means that each year, you're a part of helping 12 different children, beginning with Zione. We call it being a CURE Hero!
Got it. Thanks for the explanation.

“Many strange people I meet either by the roadside or at my home, they just look at me and walk away. But this other strange man I met was different. He stopped me and asked me some questions about my leg,” said Zione.
Zione has a hip condition. This problem started when she was four years old and she eventually dropped out of school due to excessive pain it caused. “I would love to go back to school and support my family when I get healed, but the hopes that my leg will ever be healed were fading until I met the CURE doctors. Now I believe I will return to school after my treatment here!” Zione shared with us.
No one really knows what happened to Zione’s leg just that when she was in grade four, she woke up one morning with a painful, swollen hip. Zione was taken to a local hospital where the doctors discover that an infection was causing the swelling. The doctors treated Zione’s and she seemed to be improving. But it was after this time that her deformity began. When they returned to the hospital, her parents were told nothing can be done. Several years later, Zione was stopped by a man in her village who shared with her about us here at CURE Malawi. He shared with the stories of healing that happen here and the dates we would be visiting their local hospital, seeing patients. Our doctors met Zione and she is now here for her operation. Please help us to pray for and encourage Zione and her mother Fenesta while they are here with us!
