CURE in Kenya

The picture above is of CURE in Kenya. Everyone who serves with CURE in Kenya, from medical professionals to office staff, are dedicated to providing the highest quality medical and spiritual care to people who, without CURE, couldn't find it and couldn't afford it, just like Ian. To do that, we're inviting you to partner with us.

We need to raise approximately $1000 to treat children like Ian. When you give a gift through Ian's CUREkids profile, your contribution will help us continue our work in countries like Kenya. Have more questions? Ask us.

Monthly Giving: Be a Hero!

When you partner with us monthly, we'll send you an email each month to introduce you to a different child who was helped because of your generosity. You can choose to follow their updates and send them get well messages. That means that each year, you're a part of helping 12 different children, beginning with Ian. We call it being a CURE Hero!

Got it. Thanks for the explanation.

“You will go in and then the doctor will show you what bicycle you will ride and then they will give you soda and make your leg so that you can be able to play football,” Fridah told her son Ian. As we listened, we were tempted to tell her to let Ian know the truth, but our every attempt to do so was met by a stern look from her.
It was only after Ian had been happily wheeled off into the operating rooms that his mother finally explained the kind of resistance that she had been met with every time she dared to explain that he needed to be in plaster of paris to fully correct his legs. It was her only way of convincing him, her only way of ensuring that her son got the corrective surgery as soon as possible. Ian might not appreciate the plaster when he comes out from surgery, but we know, like his mother, that what we are doing for him is best. God willing, he will understand someday soon, when he is older.
