“Seeing my child with a cleft lip was a shock to me. I was distraught until the moment I found out that there is healing for his condition. I had been afraid my baby was going to have to live with a cleft lip for the rest of his life.” Thomas’s mother Zenbey told us.

Thomas is a sweet little guy who is here at CURE Ethiopia seeking help for his cleft lip and palate problems. These problems mean he was born with an opening in the upper part of his lip and on the roof of his mouth. Seeing that his this condition is on his face, Thomas' cleft lip all but guarantees him a life of exclusion and mockery. Thankfully though, a previous CURE Ethiopia patient saw Thomas at church and recommended Zenbey bring him here to us. Zenbey heeded the advice and now Thomas is about to get the surgery he needs to transform not only his face, but also his future!

Please join us in welcoming this family as they start their healing journey!
