What am I giving to?

CURE in Ethiopia

The picture above is of CURE in Ethiopia. Everyone who serves with CURE in Ethiopia, from medical professionals to office staff, are dedicated to providing the highest quality medical and spiritual care to people who, without CURE, couldn't find it and couldn't afford it, just like Abi. To do that, we're inviting you to partner with us.

We need to raise approximately $1000 to treat children like Abi. When you give a gift through Abi's CUREkids profile, your contribution will help us continue our work in countries like Ethiopia. Have more questions? Ask us.

Monthly Giving: Be a Hero!

When you partner with us monthly, we'll send you an email each month to introduce you to a different child who was helped because of your generosity. You can choose to follow their updates and send them get well messages. That means that each year, you're a part of helping 12 different children, beginning with Abi. We call it being a CURE Hero!

Got it. Thanks for the explanation.

Abi's Story

“I have been sad for a very long time, asking myself, is it my fault and what should I do? But now I have a hope that my boy will be healed,” explains Yetameshu, Abi’s mother and she continues, “it makes me very happy just knowing that!”

Abi is a shy little boy and has arrived to CURE Ethiopia with his mother Yetameshu seeking help for his tibia problem. Yetameshu told us that his tibia problem started when Abi was only a couple of days old. The family took him to a health center but he could not get the help he needed. They kept searching for healing when they came across a child who had a treatment at CURE Ethiopia so they made their way here! “Even if he limps, Abi still loves playing with his older brother and kids in our neighborhood,” Yetameshu told us. Both of Abi’s parents are farmers and they are grateful people. Abi started school this year which he loves and has made friends there. Please join us in welcoming Abi and his family, please keep them in your prayers as they start Abi’s healing journey!
