“I really want to go back to school, and study hard so that I could be a doctor in the future,” Yadmekew said.

Yadmekew is a sixth grader who loves school so much. Unfortunately, he couldn't continue what he loves because the school is an hour walk and he could’t do that everyday in his condition. Four years ago he was playing with his friends, climbing a tree and having fun, but he accidentally fell and hurt his hip. He went to a traditional healer and a couple of clinics in his city, but all these did not help him to walk like he used to. His family heard about CURE hospital from their relative and they came to the hospital. Yadmekew told us, “I enjoy playing soccer but I couldn't run like I used to and I'm looking forward to being healed and playing with my friends.” Please join us in welcoming Yadmekew while he starts his journey to healing!
