“I want to be healed so that I could go back to school and work hard," Chaltu shares with a quiet tone of determination.

Chaltu is a shy young lady, she didn't want to reveal to us what she wants to study quite yet, but we're hoping that as we get to know her better we'll learn more about her! She's come to CURE seeking help for a burn contracture that she has on her neck. When she was three years old, hot water spilled on her neck and burned her. She did not get the treatment she needed to heal her neck at the time of the accident and when the wounds healed, she now has a contracture on it, pulling her skin downward. Chaltu used to live with her parents and four siblings, but a couple of months back she came to the capital to live with her relatives so that she could get the treatment she needs and continue in her schooling. A couple of years ago she was in grade three, but she stopped school because she wanted to be healed and to have a neck like normal kids. Thank you for being a part of Chatu's team in making her hope of being healed and returning to school come true. Please join us in welcoming Chaltu as she starts her healing process!
