CURE in Ethiopia

The picture above is of CURE in Ethiopia. Everyone who serves with CURE in Ethiopia, from medical professionals to office staff, are dedicated to providing the highest quality medical and spiritual care to people who, without CURE, couldn't find it and couldn't afford it, just like Besufekad. To do that, we're inviting you to partner with us.

We need to raise approximately $400 to treat children like Besufekad. When you give a gift through Besufekad's CUREkids profile, your contribution will help us continue our work in countries like Ethiopia. Have more questions? Ask us.

Monthly Giving: Be a Hero!

When you partner with us monthly, we'll send you an email each month to introduce you to a different child who was helped because of your generosity. You can choose to follow their updates and send them get well messages. That means that each year, you're a part of helping 12 different children, beginning with Besufekad. We call it being a CURE Hero!

Got it. Thanks for the explanation.

Besufekad's Story

“I was so shocked and sad, I didn’t even know if there was healing," admitted Habtam, Besufekade’s mom, she continued, "my husband even thinks it was a curse that our baby has a clubfoot, but we finally heard about CURE Hospital from people who support us and we came to the hospital!”

Besufekad is a couple of weeks old and he came to CURE Hospital with his mother Habtam and his twin sister Kidist seeking help for his clubfoot problem. Kidist does not have clubfoot like her brother, but she came in for a moral support. Habtam told us that Besufekad is a quiet baby and he sleeps a lot, but on the other hand his sister Kidist is restless. Besides his twin sister, Besufekad has an older brother. Both of his parents sell candles to support the family. Please join us in welcoming this family while they start Besufekad's healing journey!
