We need to raise approximately $1000 to treat children like Lilo. When you give a gift through Lilo's CUREkids profile, your contribution will help us continue our work in countries like Ethiopia. Have more questions? Ask us.
Monthly Giving: Be a Hero!
When you partner with us monthly, we'll send you an email each month to introduce you to a different child who was helped because of your generosity. You can choose to follow their updates and send them get well messages. That means that each year, you're a part of helping 12 different children, beginning with Lilo. We call it being a CURE Hero!
Got it. Thanks for the explanation.

It took Lilo 2 days to get to the CURE hospital in Addis Ababa by car and horse. She's had a foot deformity since birth, and it's hindered her from going to school and from doing the things she dreams of doing.
Lilo plans on getting an education after her operation at CURE. She has 4 brothers and 2 sisters, and she says that she really enjoys staying at home and helping out around the house.
CURE is the first hospital that Lilo has ever been to. She is excited to get rid of the pain that her foot has been causing for her entire life. This is an operation that she or her family would not be able to afford on her own so a free surgery means everything. You can follow her story to healing here, or support her by praying for her safe return and recovery after the procedure.
