Souraya was happy to receive the gift of clothes from the spiritual team. She immediately shared what she would give her sister when she got home. Because our doctors must follow her closely, she will stay at the guesthouse to continue treatment on her knees. We are pleased that Souraya has been smiling since her operation, which confirms that she's happy with the support she is receiving. Please continue to pray for her recovery. Thank you!
Badaratou was chatty with our nurses at CURE Niger when she went to the operating room for surgery on her knock knee. The medical team made her comfortable in the operating room, joking with her before putting her under anesthesia. Dr. Fasto proceeded with an osteotomy, which consisted of cutting the bone of Badaratou's left leg and realigning it. He had already said she had made a good recovery after the first operation, and this one was successful too. Badaratou is back in the ward resting. Thank you for keeping her in your prayers, and bless you for your support!
"You'll be fine running afterward; don’t be afraid,” Dr. Fasto told Anass as he entered the operating room. After praying, Dr. Fasto performed an osteotomy to correct the windswept condition of Anass's legs. He cut the bone and placed K-wires to guide Anass's legs into the correct position. Then he placed a cast on both legs to cover them and help them straighten properly. Anass is back in the ward, where he's resting next to his aunt and under the care of our nurses. Please pray for his recovery. Bless you!
Faiza was consulted by our ward nurses before being taken to the operating room. In the operating room, Dr. Uli performed surgery on Faiza’s legs, placing pins to keep them in the best possible position. She ended the surgery by applying a cast on Faiza’s legs to help stabilize them as she heals. Faiza is now back in the ward recovering alongside her loving grandmother, Oumou. Please pray for Faiza’s speedy recovery. Thank you!
Balki is pleased with the outcome of her surgery and the clothes she received as presents from the spiritual ministry team. “I also received a beautiful doll!” she showed us happily. Now that Balki can go home, she says she will play with her beautiful doll as she recuperates. She'll be back in a week for the follow-up. Please keep her in your prayers. Thank you for your support!
