Ousseini
Niger - Age 11
Ousseini visited us, and how awesome it was to see him running! "I can now properly step on my feet and grip the ground well. See?" Ousseini said, proudly showing us how he was running. We are blessed to witness such a significant change in Ousseini’s life. He has gone through a long journey to get here. The almost two years of surgeries, physical therapy, and casting were definitely worth it. Thank you for constantly supporting him through your donations, prayers, and messages of encouragement. "I want to thank everyone who wrote to me and helped me heal. May God bless you abundantly!" Ousseini says to all of you. He is going home, where he will continue to learn and get used to walking correctly. Ousseini will return to the hospital in one year for a check-up. Please join us in praying for him to acknowledge God’s love and care in his life. May God take all the glory, and may His salvation be mirrored in Ousseini’s life.

Nassirou Mahamdou
Niger - Age 7
Look who is back, full of joy and laughter! Nassirou returned to CURE Niger and met some of his old buddies. He was happy to share his latest news with Ibrahim, our storyteller. “Look at my legs, they are straight, and I can walk without effort. I can even run!” He proclaimed. Indeed his recovery went well, and he is now waiting for our doctors to check on his improvement. "I am so happy to be back, and I know they will be happy with my progress,” Nassirou boasted. Nassirou has been brave and cheerful throughout his treatment journey. We witnessed God’s healing hand throughout his physical and emotional healing. Nassirou became increasingly engaged in spiritual activities and learned many things about Jesus. Nassirou will return soon for his follow-up. Please join us in praying for him to grow in the knowledge of God.

Salifou
Niger - Age 9
Salifou is happy to be using his hand! "Look, I can wash my clothes now! I can be helpful!" Salifou tells us with excitement. Indeed, Salifou's wrist and fingers can function well. All those physical therapy sessions have produced results. Salifou can now hold things with his hands. He uses his fingers in various activities like washing, cleaning, writing, and drawing. We are so delighted by what we have witnessed. Thank you, CURE friends, because your donations and support gave him this great chance! God bless you for all the ways you choose to serve CURE kids! Salifou is going home and sharing his excitement with the family and community. He will be back in a few months for a follow-up. Please pray for his safe journey back and for the things he learned about Jesus to bear the fruit of salvation in his life!

Halimatou
Niger - Age 1
"Diyata ta kara kyawo, kuma ita ma tana jin dadi" [meaning "my daughter is beautiful and she's happy],” says Halimatou's mother, overjoyed that her daughter’s cleft lip had been repaired. "I believe that everything is possible with God. My joy is perfect, and I'm sure our whole family will be excited when they see Halimatou’s transformation," she continued. Halimatou will go home and return to CURE Niger for her check-up in a week. Please continue to pray for her continued recovery.

Badaratou
Niger - Age 4
Badaratou was smiling when she returned to the ward and saw her mom. Her mother was surprised to see that her leg was already in the correct position. Dr. Fasto, with the medical team's support, did an excellent job of cutting Badaratou's left leg bone and realigning it. Ultimately, he placed a cast over her leg to help it stay straight while she healed. Badaratou is back in the ward, eating well and recovering. Please pray for her recovery.
