We praise the name of the Lord with Deborah and her mum because of her successful surgery. If you take a moment to look at her X-rays before surgery, you will see that her hip joint was way out of the socket. This is what caused her pain. The surgeons were able to reduce the bone up to the socket, minimizing the friction of the hip joint. Deborah will now need to go through physiotherapy to help her learn how to walk again. Please thank God with us for her progress!
Teddy went into the operating room today for his corrective procedure. The surgeon went in and made something that looked like a wedge to straighten his foot and hold it in place using pins. He then applied a cast on Teddy's leg to protect it as it heals. Teddy will take approximately six weeks to recover. Please pray for his healing to be as smooth as can be.
Deborah is in Form 2 (Grade 8). She will very soon finish high school and join the university. “I study very hard to become a doctor and help people not feel the pain I have experienced for a long time!” Deborah told us. Please pray for her as she goes through surgery and chases her dream of becoming a doctor one day.
“One of the parents I met in the ward told me that there is no other place like CURE, and if I have any doubts, I should look at the pictures on the walls. I was encouraged by what he said!” David told us. Thank you for partnering with us to provide life-changing surgical treatment for children like Teddy. And please pray for his scheduled surgery to become successful.

Frederick and his mom left for home very early in the morning today. We connected with one of the nurses who was taking care of him and he told us that Freddy was able to eat well and yesterday in the evening he was taught how to walk using crutches so he was good to go home and recover in the comfort of his home. We thank God for Freddy please continue to pray for his healing!
