Joseph
Kenya - Age 17
“I love to play football, a lot. But now, I am not able. I hope once I am healed, this is going to change” Joseph told us. Let’s pray for a successful surgery that will correct his foot so that he’ll be able to play again.
Bravel
Kenya - Age 9
We caught up with Bravel after he had just finished half of the coloring book from a few days ago! The doctors will continue to observe his progress and he could possibly be discharged over the weekend. Let's continue to pray for a quick recovery for Bravel as the weekend starts!
Wendy
Kenya - Age 14
Wendy and Rosemary read the get well messages that you've been sending their way. "You mean that we have all these well wishers?!" Rosemary exclaimed. She was grateful that you have been supporting her in prayers and wishing her daughter quick recovery. Wendy will be under observation and may be discharged over the weekend to continue recovering at home. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
Bravel
Kenya - Age 9
Friends, your get well messages really have an impact on our kids and their parents. It gives them so much joy to find out that there are people out there who love and pray for them despite not knowing them. Bravel was able to read your get well messages today and he couldn’t help it but smile. He is continuing with his recovery and will probably have a cast change tomorrow. Thank you for cheering up these kiddos with your heartfelt messages.
Wendy
Kenya - Age 14
Today was a pretty rough day for Wendy. It was her first day of physical therapy and it can be a little tricky at the start. Our physical therapist Onesmus hooked her up with a walker and was showing her some tricks to help her get around while her leg is in a cast. It was a bit uncomfortable but she managed to do a lap around the ward all on her own. We are praying for a steady recovery for Wendy.
