Meet Faith (Far right) and her family! They are at CURE Zimbabwe this week to receive corrective surgery. Faith is the first born in her family. She and her two younger brothers were born with a condition that makes their bones weak, causing them to bend and possibly break in their limbs. Faith is scheduled for corrective surgery, and we are thrilled to have the whole family with us at the hospital. Help us welcome them to the CURE family!
This is Leeroy. He loves to play and comes across as the clown of a family of three children, who are all at CURE Zimbabwe this week! He has a bone condition that makes his bones to be soft, causing them to bend and sometimes break. As a result, his legs are bent inward, making his knees knock together when he walks or runs. We're delighted to have Leeroy and his family at the hospital this week to receive corrective surgery. Please help us welcome Leeroy and his family to CURE Zimbabwe! https://youtu.be/zdLHlZ2sYMQ
Meet Junior! He is one of three children in his family who all have a condition that makes their bones weak, causing them to bend and break in their limbs. But this doesn't stop Junior from being the adventurous and energetic boy he is, even though he uses crutches to get around most of the time. This week, he and his family are at CURE Zimbabwe to receive corrective surgery. Help us welcome Junior into the CURE family. https://youtu.be/4IMghgXAHQM
We are happy to welcome our new friends, Fritz and Carlite! They come from a city in Visayas Islands, which is located in the central part of the Philippine archipelago. “We rode a bus, boat, and plane just to get here!” Fritz told us. They have come a long way and are super excited to start their journey toward being clubfoot-free! Please help give them a warm welcome by sending them messages of encouragement and prayers!
Ousmane is always learning new things at CURE Niger. He likes to draw, color, and paint and does them all really well. This morning, we found him outside chatting with his mom while she arranged moringa. Ousmane told us he had two bandage changes this week, and his arm is healing well. Thank you for being so supportive of him and his mom.
