Welcome Alicia, a three-year-old girl with bowed legs. This is when a child's legs curve outward at the knees. When a child with bowlegs stands with their toes pointing forward, their ankles may touch, but their knees remain apart. She will be here at CURE Zimbabwe receiving surgical treatment. She is already pacing the ward, making new friends, and proudly demonstrating her ability to count to five! Please join us in welcoming her with a get-well message as well as lifting her up in prayer!

"A si doru amma ay si bara yakiné" means "I don’t have pain, but I don’t like when you do that," says Badaratou to Dr. Fasto when he asks her if it hurts when he manipulates her leg. While seeing the doctor can be scary, we're so excited for Badaratou to get her surgery and have straight legs! All this is possible thanks to your support and prayers. Thank you for continuing in this direction, and don't forget to pray for Badaratou and her intervention. Thank you for being so supportive.
It was a bustling day in the operating room, and Edrian was the last patient to go in for surgery. This was Edrian’s first time having surgery, so he was a little nervous and uncharacteristically quiet as the surgical team wheeled him into the operating room. Once Edrian was under anesthesia, the surgical team made incisions and cut bones in his right lower leg to correct his deformity and create proper alignment. Edrian is now in the ward recovering from his procedure. We kindly ask you to continue praying for and supporting his healing. Thank you! https://youtu.be/B241OTkznNs
Fritz and his sister, fellow CUREkid Carlite, had their surgeries scheduled on the same day! Carlite went in and had a successful procedure; it was then time for Fritz to enter the operating room. Fritz was calm and bravely assured his mom he could handle the surgery! Once Fritz was asleep, OR Nurse Melody applied iodine to his foot to prepare him for surgery. Medical professionals sterilize the patient's surgical site by applying iodine compounds to prevent wound contamination. Afterward, the surgical team performed a procedure called ATL + Lambrinudi triple arthrodesis to correct Fritz’s foot deformity and restore stability and function to his ankle and hindfoot. The surgery ended successfully, and Fritz’s leg is now in a cast. His family expresses gratitude for the continuous support and prayers from the Tebow CURE staff and CURE supporters like yourselves.
