Thokozani is Jumping for Joy
A couple of weeks ago, we had the privilege of visiting former patient Thokozani. He was treated at CURE Malawi for Blount’s disease, a condition that affects the knee and causes the leg to bow. We’re always so thankful to hear how God has used CURE Malawi to heal and change not only the children […]
CURE Malawi’s new mobile library
CURE Malawi recently received some lovely visitors from the UK who helped fund and set up a mobile library for our kids!
Clubfoot free: Bertha
“Your visit has encouraged us to keep coming to CURE.”
Clubfoot free: Faith
Faith and her parents live almost an hour out of town in a village on the outskirts of Blantyre, so we were impressed by how faithfully they came for treatment. “After Faith was born, we went straight to CURE.”
Gift: God works all things for good
In 2011, a brave little boy named Gift came through the doors of CURE Malawi to have surgery for a dislocated hip. Last year, Gift came back to visit, and we are so excited to share with you what has happened to him since then! At about the same time, Carla Reimer and her daughter, Lauren, volunteered for a day at the hospital—much like they did years ago when Gift had his operation. That’s how their story begins.
Clubfoot free: Shamira
Shamira’s father, Idrisah, works in South Africa, and Rabecca hasn’t seen him in two years, since before Shamira was born. It’s difficult raising a child by yourself (let alone a child who has to go to the hospital once a week), so we were glad to have the opportunity to encourage her in person. Rabecca is living […]
Co-workers replenish their souls
When I came to CURE Malawi, I met people full of passion for Christ, who demonstrate Christlikeness and speak so much about Jesus.
Ishmael & Rahim: Healing their clubfoot gives a family hope
“Before I left the village, a lot of people were speaking ill about my children, but upon my return, most of them, almost all of them, are curious because what they expected is not what they are seeing today,” said Levison, Ishmael and Rahim’s dad.
Dr. Stagno: Supporting hydrocephalus & neurosurgeons around the globe
“The first time I went into a neurosurgery was for a shunt revision on a baby, and I could really see a difference after treatment. Surgery was something big. They were going to change a life forever. I loved making a difference in somebody’s life and having a massive impact.”
Clubfoot free: Samantha
We are happy! We thought she would never be able to walk,” said Samantha’s parents.
