about CURE
9 million children needlessly suffer from life-limiting yet treatable disabilities.
We’re on a mission to change that.
CURE supporters and partners help provide world-class surgical and intentional ministry care at no cost for children living with life-limiting but treatable conditions. Together, we’re changing lives one surgery at a time.
changing lives, like Ismael's
Ismael was born with severely bowed legs that worsened as he grew, causing pain, shame, and difficulty walking. His parents, farmers in rural Niger, couldn’t afford the surgery he desperately needed.
But thanks to generous donors like you, CURE Niger provided Ismael with expert surgical care at no cost. Before he returned home, the spiritual ministry team gave him an audio Bible so he could continue learning from God’s Word as he healed—a reflection of CURE’s commitment to both physical and spiritual restoration. Today, Ismael stands tall, walks without pain, and dreams of becoming a doctor—so he can help others the way CURE helped him.
how and where we work
We serve children with disabilities living in poverty, providing world-class surgical services through our eight hospitals—at no cost to families.
We demonstrate the love of Jesus to children through every step of their healing journey.
We train future doctors, nurses, and technicians to serve across their nations for decades to come.
We work alongside local pastors and leaders to prevent the abuse and neglect of children living with disabilities.
our impact
CURE is dedicated to providing life-changing surgical care to children in need, sharing Christ’s love with those we serve, and strengthening the health systems in the communities where we work.
