December 2020 Prayer Guide

Greatest Message for the Season.

I welcome you all to another month of prayer. December being a month of celebrations, it can mean many things to many people, but for the redeemed of God, it carries significant meaning revealed by God’s character. For example, it reminds us of:

1.      Epiphany – The greatest appearance of God leaving His glory above to step into our sphere and taking on our sin to redeem us. This is Incarnational (2 Cor.8:9)

2.      Love – The greatest assurance that we love Him because He first loved us. God so loved us that He gave us His son (Rom. 5:8)

3.      Grace – The greatest humbling concept in our faith, that we have received all that we did not deserve this is grace unmerited. (John 1:16)

4.      Mercy – The greatest pardon plan ever conceived by God to have compassion on the condemned sons of man and to lift His wrath from them. (Eph. 2:4-5)

5.      Light – The greatest display of the radiance of God witnessed by the shepherds in a gloomy night brought joy and revelation in their lives (John 8:12)

6.      Gift – The greatest giver, God who out gave us, gave the very best only son for our sake (John 3:16).

Therefore, may we approach God in prayer with confidence and hope, knowing the greatest He has already done and continues to do. Amen.
