November 2019 Prayer Guide

Isaiah 46

In this passage, God is speaking to Israel, and He has strong words to say:  “Beside me there is no other.” He shows the idols of the day to be wood that burns and metal that melts-of no value and powerless. He says this not to scold us but rather to remove the fog of our self-worry or concern or even self-reliance.

If we want to understand what is at the core of God’s heart for us and the children Cure serves, listen to these words from Isaiah:

“Listen to me, you descendants of Jacob,
all the remnant of the people of Israel,
you whom I have upheld since your birth,
and have carried since you were born.
Even to your old age and gray hairs
I am he, I am he who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you;
I will sustain you and I will rescue you.” ‭‭ Isaiah‬ ‭46:3-4‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Are these not beautiful words? Let’s believe Him as we pray.

CURE Zambia
*During this dry season, our water table has decreased forcing us to sadly stop people near the hospital to draw water from us. This was a painful decision. We’re thankful that with the guidance of the Executive Director, a drilling company was identified to sink a borehole and after the third try, water was struck. Therefore thank God that He provided the water and we are able to provide water again to our community who needs this commodity so much.
* The Pastors’ training we had was so successful. Thank God that we were able to have this training and that everything went as planned
* Thank God for the successful Mobile clinics we had and for the patients we have started receiving from the them.
* A former co-worker who used to work in the operating room passed on. Pray for God to comfort the family during this trying moment they are passing through.
* Pray for the rains to be normal in this coming rainy season as we hardly had rains the last season.
* Most of the members of staff have children writing examinations, pray that God will guide them during this period and pray for their good health too.
