Participants race to support Tebow CURE Hospital

A Fun Run to raise awareness and support the Tebow CURE Hospital in Davao City, Philippines was held on May 28, 2017. The run carried the theme “Run, So They Can.” Participants made it to the starting point of the race at 4 a.m. Spearheaded by Vince Bitana, who serves as the Development and Sustainability Manager at Tebow CURE Hospital, the run was also supported by the Junior Chamber International (JCI) in Davao, DMCI Homes, and other local partners. About 400 runners participated.

The staff at Tebow CURE serve with the best of our ability to be a part of our kids healing, but we can say that the job is not completely done without our local community. We are grateful to everyone who turned out at the Fun Run to help raise awareness for the Tebow CURE Hospital and our mission to heal the sick and proclaim the kingdom of God in the Philippines!

“The proceeds from the event will enable us to subsidize five surgeries of children with physical disabilities. On behalf of JCI and the children who will benefit from the Fun Run, I would like to thank you for taking your time out to be with us and sharing your blessing to someone who is in need. Truly it was a success,” said Bitana.
