Thanks to 102.5 LIFE radio station, our patients got to take home a cuddle buddy with them as they heal!

Amidst the current event issues that we have on the island of Mindanao, we are in prayer for two things: healing and peace.

Homesickness floods our way as many of us work away from families, but Dr. Shelley might’ve found that baby cuddling is an effective remedy!

Apreal seems taller, smarter, and has a smile that’s a lot wider! We love being reunited with our older CUREkids!

We were getting concerned about Dr. Joseph. We haven’t had a photobomb from him lately. This week he calmed our fears!

“What are you making,” we asked Apreal. “Hmm… well, I don’t know, something…” she trailed off. Here’s what she came up with!

Sifa is one of our castable clubfoot babies, and whenever she comes for casting, she’s accompanied by her parents and other family and friends. This week, it was her grandma and an uncle (a close family friend). Sifa should be feeling the love.

Wayne and Vivian are best buds.

Bakita’s leg had to be elevated after it started to swell. She was having fun with the elevation; posing like she was relaxing in a Hammock.

Our very outgoing friend James was super excited to try out this wheelchair swing at our CURE Kenya playground.

Martin is back for some more surgery for his bone infection!

Dr. Main has given Manuel the okay to go home and have dressing changes once a week!

Funny, right, is taking over for CKC Thandy while he’s away on vacation, and she was doing a great job reading Manuel’s get-well letters to him!

At this point, Bassira is a pro at surgery, so she’s all smiles as she waits to go in for her skin graft procedure.

Breakfast is a simple affair around here, but one that Mahamadou loves!

I love this photo for the cooperation it represents. In this photo, there are staff representing Niger, UK, USA, and Switzerland all working together to heal a child.

Emmanuel, one of our spiritual staff members, spends some time with a child on his morning prayer rounds.
