We’re incredibly thankful for all the mothers (and grandmothers) for all they do for the kids we treat. We’ve got Hamza and his grandmother during one of his checkups after receiving surgery to separate two of his fingers that were born bonded together.

Being born with a cleft lip herself, Malika knew the trials Djalika would face with his cleft lip. She was the driving force in their quest for healing, which has ended with us at CURE Niger!

Jhaynie is a multitasker. She talked to us as she watched TV and played with the piano book!

Angel Faith’s mom is happy to know that she’ll be having surgery soon!

While Aljun is not sure about the camera, his grandma’s face shows her curiosity of what needs to be done on his leg.

“That’s five!” Kai tells us as he works on his exercises in physical therapy. Once he reached 10, the LEGOS were waiting!

She’s a mom at home, but beyond that, Elaine has such a mom’s heart for our patients! She’s often spotted spending time comforting nervous kids before they enter the operating room.

Mary Jane is a mom to nine kids! It’s no wonder she had a knack for keeping her youngest, Maricar, calm and comforted before surgery.

OPD Nurses Tizita & Elbethel were at their usual post and greeting our patients with bright smiles!

CURE Kenya doesn’t treat hydrocephalus patients. But a neighboring hospital, Bethany Kids, does. We often run our mobile clinics alongside each other and that’s when we met this joyful guy!

We love watching Pastor Peter play with our kiddos. He has so many friends who are under the age of 15!

This guy’s name might be Ali, but we’re not one hundred percent sure. We became friends on mobile clinic, and he became our model.

Just a bit of mobile clinic silliness.
