The new Oasis Hospital is now open!

Thanks to a generous gift from the Al Nahyan family, years of planning and preparation, and countless hours by many hard-working staff members, the new Oasis Hospital is now open, and we invite you to celebrate this momentous occasion with us.

The new hospital features expanded bed space, a state of the art birthing center, and 20 NICU beds, affirming Oasis Hospital’s role in the Emirates as the “birthplace of leaders for the nation” and the premier hospital in the region for maternal and child care. In a recent interview with The National, Trey Hulsey, President of Oasis Hospital, said, “At the new hospital we can help more patients and provide more services, like the NICU, which was something we didn’t have before and which will really help us care for the 250 to 300 premature babies that are, on average, born every year.”
Oasis Hospital was founded by Christian missionaries Drs. Pat and Marian Kennedy at the invitation of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his brother, Sheikh Shakhbut, in November 1960. CURE International stepped into the leadership of Oasis Hospital in 2006 and is grateful to be part of the excellent work that has taken place since the hospital’s inception.
In its 55-year history, Oasis has ensured the safe delivery of over 100,000 infants into the world to families from the UAE, Oman, and many other countries. Many members of the Abu Dhabi ruling family have been among the generations of children born at Oasis Hospital.

We are looking forward to serving with excellence the next generation of all who call the UAE their home.”
