Congratulations, Dr. Drum!

IMG_2207We’d like to extend our congratulations to Dr. Elizabeth Drum (left), a good friend of CURE, on her selection as MedicalMissions.org 2015 Physician of the Year for International Service!

Dr. Drum is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Aside from making many trips to serve at CURE’s hospital in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Dr. Drum has built a scholarship program for U.S. anesthesiology residents to spend a month at CURE Ethiopia, working at the hospital and teaching local anesthesia providers. She also recruits other physicians and healthcare providers for trips, gathers needed medical supplies, and raises funds to support CURE’s work.

The pictures below are from some of Dr. Drum’s trips to CURE Ethiopia.
