This isn’t about CURE, per se, but that’s okay: Want to join us, and make one of these?
Saeed Abedini is an American, and he’s a brother in Christ. He’s suffering because of it, locked in a prison in Iran. His latest letter was about Christmas, and he mentioned how he was threatened and then forced to take his lone decoration down – a paper cross.
At CURE’s HQ, we put a paper cross on our tree to not only remember Saeed, but to encourage him. When we take pictures of a cross for Saeed and post it on social media, his wife and kids see the photos, and the family can let Saeed know that his spiritual brothers and sisters have NOT forgotten him.
Here’s the great news: Hundreds are already doing it! So… want to join us? Just make a paper cross, and take a photo. Put it on CURE’s Facebook page, and use it, too, as a reminder to pray for the suffering.
THANK YOU for your heart for the broken, the least, and the lost. Thank you for celebrating Jesus with us, and a God who chooses the weak, the despised, and the rejected things of the world to make His name famous.
Please share this idea of extending hope to the Abedini family with your friends and family.
