Malik lives in Uganda and has hydrocephalus, and in Uganda the sort of specialty medical care Malik needs is scarce. There are 100 million children in the world just like Malik who have little hope for the future.

About Malik

Malik’s family is one hour from CURE Uganda. His mother had a successful birth at the community health centre and all was well for the first month. However this all suddenly changed when Malik suffered a fever and an abnormal head increase in size. His family was panic stricken but before they could make a decision as to where to take him for treatment, their neighbors advised the family to visit CURE Children’s Hospital of Uganda. They are glad now that Malik is scheduled for surgery hoping that it will give him an eternal solution to his condition.
