About Abigail
Abigail is only 8 and she has a serious burn contracture on her right hand. She crawled too close to an open fire when she was less than a year old. After the accident, she was taken to the hospital but she didn’t receive proper treatment and the skin on her fingers contracted making it impossible to fully use her right hand. She can’t fully extend the fingers and must rely on using her left hand for everything.
Her peers laugh at her condition and her mother says that she often comes home from school crying. Abigail wants to be a teacher when she grows up. She has 3 other siblings who all want to see her healed. Please pray that her surgery is a success and she gets another chance at life without ridicule or embarrassment.

Monday September 17, 2012- Day 1Abigail is settling into the children's ward at CURE! She's playful and always smiling. She's easily embarrass her when I even slightly wave in her direction. I can't wait until next week for her procedure to restore her right hand to working condition! Please pray for Abigail.
