About Andrew
Andrew has a condition that the doctors listed as Tibia Pseudathrosis, which means that he has a false joint on his left tibia bone. This condition has denied Andrew the ability to walk or use his limb normally. But with CURE, Andrew can have a life altering procedure, get fitted with prosthesis, and God-willing, walk without difficulty!! When I asked him what he wanted to be when he grows up he said, “A soldier and an actor.” Oh what a bright future he has ahead of him!!
One thing I immediately noticed about Andrew was his love for God. His teacher Pius told me that he is very devoted to his relationship with Jesus. When I went to snap a couple of pictures, he made me stop so he could straighten out his cross necklace, adjust his beanie, and position himself in away he thought appropriate. Once everything was as it should be, he gave me the green light to go ahead!! I love moments like these. Kids can be so funny, and Andrew was no exception. He was a hoot!
I cannot wait for Andrew to get here at the first of October! His life is going to be completely changed after surgery. I know he will give God the glory for his healing, and I am sitting in the expectation that God is going to use this little guy in big ways! Continue to pray for Andrew as he prepares to embark on this life-altering journey!
