Phillip lives in Kenya and has a leg deformity, and in Kenya the sort of specialty medical care Phillip needs is scarce. There are 100 million children in the world just like Phillip who have little hope for the future.
Many can't play with their friends or go to school, and when Phillip grows up, things that we hope for like marriage or finding a job will be difficult or impossible...all because Phillip has a curable disability! But you can change Phillip's life forever.
You can help

You can help Phillip right now. Maybe you can afford the $1000 that will provide the care he needs. Maybe you can offer $30. Or maybe you can introduce Phillip to others who can help...

About Phillip

“I was given when he was worse.” That was Margaret’s answer when I asked her what condition had brought them to the hospital. I assumed by “given” she was referring to God and Him giving Phillip to her with a condition that was in a worse state than it was at our present meeting.

Phillip was born with bilateral clubfoot. At three weeks old, he began castings to help with his condition. The casting was so intense, and they needed to go to the hospital every week. Margaret began to explain, “It seemed more logical to move to Nairobi. I left two of my younger children home and went to live in the city with a relative so that we could be close to the hospital. In the process I lost count of how many times they casted Phillip's feet.” The improvements were barley noticeable so they moved back to their rural village. There they were connected with CURE’s mobile clinic and sought treatment.

It's funny how God leads us...just as Margaret was giving up and moving back home, we got connected with them. Phillip is currently still in his casts, but when he comes in November, doctors will perform a bilateral PMR, which is basically a release of the tissues keeping his feet turned inward. We are so excited and counting down the days to see Mr. Phillip again. He has such a bright and big future a head of him!!
