About Kelvin
Kelvin was born with Cerebral palsy twelve years ago, and as is common with the condition, has suffered and has had many limitations come his way. He is such a sweet little guy, very polite and shy as I spoke to him and his teacher Pius. One thing he has no limitations on are is siblings, who love him very, very much and are learning more daily about his condition and disabilities.
When he came for our mobile clinic in his home area of Eldoret, he was accompanied by one of his teachers, who seemed to care and understand him completely. “He came to our school in 2009 and in two years we have seen major improvements in his education. The only thing remaining is medial intervention. We are so happy we found out about CURE, although his condition will not change, surgery on his foot will make a world of difference in his daily life.”
I am also so grateful we have crossed paths with Kelvin. Pius might be expecting us to only care for Kelvin’s medical needs, but at CURE, God has also called us to reach out to people with the truth of his word. We will see Kelvin in September and ask that you join us in praying for our time with him!

JSON RSS- Day 216Hope you have been praying for Kelvin, he was not at the clinic in Eldoret when we visited them last week, and unfortunately his teacher is not picking up our calls. We will continue to pray and hope that they will finally show.
Thursday April 4, 2013 - Day 151...this time it was his teacher who did not show up for clinic as agreed :-(, we have been trying to call him but have not managed to get through to him yet. Please hold on, we will let you know when we know what is up.
Tuesday January 29, 2013 - Day 55Kelvin's treatment date has been changed to 01/24/2013 - His teacher came by and told us that they are not yet ready for surgery. When they are, they will let us know and we will definitely let you know.
Thursday October 25, 2012 - Day 32Kelvin's treatment date has been changed to 10/25/2012 - Kelvin did not come to hospital for his surgery. But I talked to his teacher and found out that there were some unavoidable circumstances that prevented him and his other school mates from coming for surgery. He will get a new surgery date when we visit their home area later this month.
