About Juliana
I have a hard time summing up Juliana’s medical history into a short story. She has been battling bowed legs since she was a little girl, has seen countless doctors, and been in and out of the hospitals her entire life. In a fight to find a correction for her daughter, Marieta, didn’t give up.
By 2007, Marieta thought she had caught a break. She finally convinced the doctors that Juliana needed surgery to correct her legs. Unfortunately, the process of getting her booked for surgery was more complicated than Marieta thought. Four years passed and Juliana was still without an operation.
Juliana has a contagious spirit. She loves athletics and longs to run. Since she can’t participate in athletics all her focus goes towards her studies. She told me that she desires to be a lawyer and is working really hard in high school to achieve the required grades. Juliana is scheduled for surgery in April, and my prayer is that she will have a fast recovery so she can return to school for her second term.
