About Jonathan

About one year ago, Jonathan had a small surgery in which plates and screws were put into his knees to slow the growth of the inside of his legs and correct his deformity. However, after one year with very little improvement, the doctors agree that a bigger surgery is necessary, one to cut the bones and place them in the correct position. Although it has been a long road of treatment for Jonathan and he has a big surgery coming up, his mother is grateful that treatment is available for her son and that he will soon have two normal legs. He will no longer have to live with the difficulty of walking and running. He will be able to play all kinds of sports and be able to work hard. There won't be any shame as there would be without treatment as he would continue to worsen. Jonathan is on the road to a brighter future indeed!
