About Frehiwot
When I asked Frehiwot about her interests, she definitely gave me a response I wasn't expecting: working out. She just loves to exercise in her spare time and is proud of her confidence and her enjoyment of sports. She's never had any issues with bullying at school or otherwise. That's not surprising, because she looks like she can handle herself quite well.
Frehiwot plans on becoming a doctor when she finishes school and is in 9th grade now. She lives at home with her parents, who are farmers, and with her 10 siblings. Yes, 10! She has 4 brothers and 6 sisters.
She's been dealing with her clubfeet since birth, but she is more than ready to leave that part of her life behind with a surgery here at CURE Ethiopia in the upcoming month. To support her, you can follow her story, donate, or just start praying for the healing to come!
