About Sintayehu
Sintayehu has had a disability from birth, but has had to deal with more than just hip pain because of it. People at school call her names like "bow-legged" and make fun of her limping. It hurts her feelings, but it doesn't stop her from dreaming big and enjoying being a kid.
She hopes to become a pilot someday, and when she is not in school learning, she loves to play with her friends. Sintayehu is in grade 2 and lives at home with her parents and brother and sister. She is a pretty shy little girl, but I have a feeling that that might change after she warms up to people.
She will get a procedure for her right hip whenever she comes back to CURE in July. Please keep this little girl in your prayers until then while she continues to deal with the people who do not understand that she simply has a medical condition that can be fixed with a simple surgery. Then follow her journey to healing when she comes back to CURE and recovers from an operation that will have life-changing effects.
