About Ibrahim
An unfortunate situation caused Ibrahim's leg to become deformed just 8 months ago. Some people were fighting with his father so in order to hurt his father they kicked Ibrahim and thew a stone at him, causing his knee to bend unnaturally.
Ibrahim speaks Oromifa, which is not the national language of Ethiopia, making our interview somewhat difficult, but we did learn that he hopes to finish school once he leaves CURE, and from there he would like to become a teacher. As of now, he lives with his parents who are farmers and his 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
When he returns to CURE, he will be receiving a right ORF patella, which is just fancy terms for knee surgery. This should allow it bend like it used to, ease the pain he is experiencing now, and help him to further his education and career with ease.

Tuesday June 26, 2012 - Day 50Ibrahim's follow up appointment has been scheduled for 06/26/2012 - Ibrahim arrived for his followup today, and all looks well. He'll return for his next visit on the 26th of June. By then he should be walking around without a limp.
