About Nuro
Nuro has had a foot deformity since birth. Because of his condition, he had to drop out of school as a young boy, and he has also had to sacrifice doing things he loves such as playing sports or just running around like normal boys his age.
Nuro's father is a farmer, and his mother stays at home and takes care of all 8 children. Nuro has 5 sisters and 3 brothers. Thankfully, he has never experienced any bullying. He enjoys working out and playing whatever sports he can.
Nuro plans to return to school once his healing is complete. He does not know what he wants to specialize in, but he knows he would like to work in an office someday. He seemed happy to allow me to take pictures of his foot, and I can only imagine he will be very excited to show me the healed version in just a little while!

JSON RSS- Day 79 Nuro's follow up appointment has been scheduled for 05/22/2012 - Nuro is going to be admitted for surgery on the 22nd of this month. He will just get a simple procedure for his left ankle. It has lost some flexibility since his previous procedure.
Friday May 11, 2012 - Day 55 Nuro's follow up appointment has been scheduled for 05/29/2012 - Nuro will be back for a follow-up next month. It's always nice to see him. Last time he was here he was dancing on crutches. He's always a joy.

Thursday April 5, 2012 - Day 41 Nuro has arrived at CURE Ethiopia - Nuro is here for his follow-up appointment. I wish I could accurately describe the dance moves I just saw out of him. I'm so happy to see him!
