Cheering on the All-Stars

Two weeks ago, I set foot in a baseball park for the first time in 25 years. Oddly enough, it was the same park, but new and expanded. My family isn’t known for their sports ability or enthusiasm… so what drew me there? It was CURE night at the Senators’ minor league baseball game in Harrisburg, PA, and my daughter was throwing out a ceremonial first pitch to represent CURE.

Milwaukee Brewers & CURE DR

Here are photos from a recent visit to the Milwaukee Brewers Academy here in the Dominican Republic. They had three members from their U.S. training center who worked with us to do player orthopedic evaluations on their 2011 team. Gracias, Harrisburg Senators!

Last Friday evening, August 6, CURE International was the featured charity at the Harrisburg Senators baseball game at Metro Bank Park.  It was a great evening of baseball, fireworks and letting people know about the lives we transform. We’d like to thank everyone at the Senators for their gracious hospitality. We also would like to thank all of the people who came out to support the cause!

CURE is being highlighted as the community charity for the game, which features the Senators vs. the Altoona Curve.  A video highlighting our work in the Dominican Republic will be shown before the game, and Kaitlyn, the daughter of our CFO Mark Knecht, will be throwing out the first pitch. CURE will also have a table, so please stop by and say hi.
