CURE Niger Helping Young Girl to ‘Dance’ Once Again

Djelika

Djelika at the CURE Niger hospital

A couple of months ago, Karina Roark from our CURE Niger hospital shared the story of Djelika. This young girl had broken her leg after falling from a tree.  She had been playfully “dancing” on a tree limb, when she slipped and fell.

Today, she’s closer than ever to dancing again.  Under the careful watch of the hospital’s medical team, her leg shows steady improvement.

AmeriCares, a supporter of the CURE Niger hospital, posted this follow up story about Djelika.

Please keep this young girl in your prayers.  We hope she’ll be dancing again soon.
