Blogging Construction Projects in Malawi

In the CURE communications team, we’re always interested in new ways that people are using social media around the world and throughout the CURE family. At our hospital in Malawi, we have another interesting example.

Beit CURE Malawi

You can visit http://amecabuildblog.wordpress.com to track the progress of the new Ameca Wing of the Beit CURE Hospital in Blantyre. The contractor hired to build the extension to the hospital is posting pictures and updates to the blog daily to ensure all interested parties can be well informed of the progress.

If you enjoy either construction projects, interesting uses of social media, or – like me – perhaps both, check it out. And if you have another interesting example of how social media is being used to support the work of CURE International please let us know. We’d love to share it with everyone on the CURE Blog!
