Welcome to the Blog!

Welcome to CURE International’s new blog!  We’ll use this space to keep you updated on all of the latest CURE news, notes and stories from all over the world.  If you are interested in learning more about what we do, visit helpcurenow.org.

It has been a busy and exciting last couple of weeks at CURE, so I thought I’d share some of the highlights with you:

The CURE Oasis hospital in the U.A.E. just celebrated the groundbreaking of its new facility.  Go here to learn more.

One of CURE’s short-term volunteers from last summer, Kate Bertrand,  is raising money to sponsor a surgery for a deserving child in Uganda.  Read her story.  And donate to her cause!

And finally, please keep our CURE Kenya hospital in your prayers.  Kenya is going through one of its worst droughts in recent memory. The hospital is dealing with higher food prices and power blackouts because of the lack of available hydroelectricity.  Pray the fall rains provide much needed relief to the country.

Thanks again for checking out our blog.  And check back often.

If you have questions or comments, feel free to drop me an email at nlloyd@cureinternational.org (By the way, my name is Noel.  I’ll be one of the contributers to this blog.).

Until next time then…
